HR Business Analyst I

Role Overview: As an HR Business Analyst I at Syneos Health, you play a crucial role in supporting HR reporting and analytics by managing data accurately, preparing recurring reports, and resolving cases promptly. Your attention to detail, experience with HR data, and ability to work independently while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality are key to excelling in this role. You will utilize your technical skills in Excel and HR systems, particularly Workday, to analyze data, identify trends, and deliver reliable information to HR and business leaders. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, validate, and distribute recurring HR reports and dashboards with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Conduct data analysis using Excel and other tools to identify data issues, trends, or inconsistencies. - Support ad-hoc and recurring reports from Workday. - Manage daily HR case activity through the HR Service Delivery platform, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs. - Serve as the first line of support for HR-related reporting inquiries and escalate complex cases as needed. - Review data with a critical eye to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, or errors before reporting. - Partner with various stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide accurate insights. - Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders, including senior leaders, to present data in a meaningful way. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. - 1-3 years of experience in HR reporting, HR operations, or a related analytical role. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, data validation, lookups, and charts. - Basic understanding of HR metrics and concepts such as headcount, turnover, and attrition. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to data quality. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity. - Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
