Position 1:

Engineer / Sr Engineer - Electrical Maintenance (High Pressure Die Casting - Aluminum Die Casting)

Position Title:

Job Summary:

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems of high-pressure die casting machines, including PLCs, HMIs, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.
2. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize unplanned downtime.
3. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
4. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to implement automation and process improvements.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
7. Train and guide junior technicians on electrical maintenance best practices and safety protocols.
8. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve recurring electrical issues.

Qualifications:

• Education

• ITI/Diploma holders/Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Experience:

• 4-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in high-pressure die casting or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.), VFDs, and control systems.

• Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with TPM, 5S, and lean manufacturing principles.

• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and overtime as required.

Working Conditions:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical components of die casting machines, such as hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, and ejector systems.
2. Conduct routine maintenance of dies, ladles, and other tooling equipment.
3. Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of cooling systems, lubrication systems, and other auxiliary equipment.
4. Perform alignment, balancing, and calibration of mechanical systems.
5. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
7. Train and guide junior technicians on mechanical maintenance best practices and safety protocols.
8. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve recurring mechanical issues.
