Housekeeping Supervisor

About the Role:

Birla Open Minds School, Bandlaguda Jagir, is seeking an experienced and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all school facilities are clean, well-maintained, and meet hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff
• Plan daily cleaning schedules for classrooms, corridors, restrooms, staff areas, and school grounds
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained
• Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and use of cleaning equipment
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders as needed
• Address and resolve staff or maintenance issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with school policies and health & safety regulations
• Coordinate with the school administration for event support and special cleaning requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role (preferably in schools, hospitals, or hospitality)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under minimal supervision
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment, tools, and safety protocols
• Basic literacy skills (reading and writing in English or local language)

Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday | [Insert Timing – e.g., 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM]

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,091.07 - ₹20,000.00 per month
