Housekeeping Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Room Cleaning and Maintenance:
• Clean and tidy guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Replace towels, linens, and other amenities according to hotel standards.
• Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, water, and other in-room amenities.
• Ensure all appliances, furniture, and fixtures are in good working order and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Public Area Cleaning:
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and elevators.
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Laundry Duties:
• Collect, wash, dry, and fold linens and towels as needed.
• Ensure timely delivery of fresh linens to housekeeping carts.
• Guest Interaction:
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their needs are met.
• Respect guest privacy and adhere to "Do Not Disturb" signs when applicable.
• Inventory and Supplies:
• Keep an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping items.
• Notify the supervisor of any shortages or need for replenishment.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding security, health, and safety.
• Participate in training sessions to maintain and improve housekeeping standards.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in deep cleaning projects or special tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
