Restaurant Receptionist/Host - Evening Shift (12 PM - 7 PM) - EDM HashHouse

Are you a highly organized, friendly, and energetic individual with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences? EDM HashHouse is a dynamic, high-energy restaurant known for its unique atmosphere and exceptional cuisine. We are looking for a dedicated and professional Restaurant Receptionist/Host to manage our front desk and welcome our guests during the crucial afternoon and early evening hours.

Shift Hours: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Location: Kalamassery, Kochi preferred.

_ Key Responsibilities:_

• Guest Welcome: Be the first and last impression for every guest, warmly greeting them upon arrival and thanking them as they depart.
• Reservation Management: Efficiently manage all incoming reservations (phone, online, walk-ins).
• Seating Coordination: Coordinate seating to maximize restaurant capacity while maintaining a smooth and positive guest flow, communicating closely with the serving staff and kitchen.
• Phone & Inquiry Handling: Answer the main restaurant phone line professionally, handle booking inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
• Front Desk Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area, ensuring menus and other necessary materials are readily available.
• Guest Assistance: Proactively address guest wait times, special requests, and inquiries with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
• Administrative Support: Assist management with light administrative tasks as needed during the shift.

✅ Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Degree
• Experience: Previous experience (1+ years preferred) in a customer-facing role, hospitality, or administrative position. Experience as a Host/Hostess or Receptionist in a restaurant is a significant asset.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to speak clearly, professionally, and courteously to diverse clientele.
• Professionalism: A polished, professional appearance and demeanor, with a naturally warm and welcoming personality.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using billing software (training provided) and standard office technology (phones, computers).
• Availability: Must be consistently available to work the 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM shift, including weekends and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.
• Multitasking: Ability to remain calm, organized, and efficient under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
