Role & responsibilities

QUALIFICATION :

• Bachelors /Masters degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)/ M Pharma from an accredited institution.
• Valied and Active Pharmacist license with minimum

  Eight

  years of experience
• Strong knowledge on latest Onco Medicines

• Proficiency in Pharmacy billing software (Mandatory)

• Polite and good communication and interpersonal skills.

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

The Pharmacy Manager oversees the daily operations of the pharmacy department OP Pharmacy, IP Pharmacy and ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Pharmacy Managers responsibilities includes managing pharmacy staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise the functioning of pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants at All Pharmacy counters . OP Pharmacy, IP Pharmacy.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions and dual check is done before dispensing the medicines by the pharmacists.
• Ensure availability of stock to cater to Ground Floor Day Care Unit, ICUs in the First Floor, Day Care Unit and Palliative Wards.
• To check and remove near expiry and damaged medicines from the rack and submit the same to central stores with detailed report.
• Monitor pharmacy workflow to maintain a high level of productivity and customer service.
• Address all patient related inquiries and complaints immediately after discussing with the

• Schedule staff shifts to - ensure adequate coverage during peak operational hours.
• To coordinate with other departments like Nursing, shifting team to optimise patient care.
• Guide the patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
• Implement and monitor adherence to policies and procedures related to medication safety and quality assurance.
• Maintain proper documents for all receipt, dispense of medicines happened at Pharmacy counter.
