Hospital Hardware and Networking IT Specialist

As a Hospital Hardware and Networking IT Specialist, your role involves managing and maintaining the hospital's IT infrastructure to ensure reliable hardware operations and seamless network connectivity. Your responsibilities include: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, printers, biometric devices, scanners, and other IT peripherals. - Setting up, monitoring, and maintaining hospital network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls. - Troubleshooting and efficiently resolving hardware failures and network issues. - Performing preventive maintenance and regular updates on IT equipment for system stability. - Supporting connectivity and performance of key hospital systems like Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). - Providing technical support to hospital staff for all hardware and network-related concerns. - Maintaining documentation of all IT hardware assets, network configurations, and support logs. - Ensuring compliance with hospital IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. - Collaborating with software support and IT operations teams for integrated system support.
