Hospital Hardware and Networking IT Specialist

As a Hospital Hardware and Networking IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of the hospital. Your technical proficiency and service-oriented approach will ensure the smooth operation of hardware and network connectivity, vital for patient care and administrative functions. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, biometric devices, scanners, and other IT peripherals. - Set up, monitor, and maintain hospital network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls. - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware failures and network issues efficiently. - Perform preventive maintenance and regular updates on IT equipment for system stability. - Support connectivity and performance of key hospital systems like Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). - Provide technical support to hospital staff for hardware and network-related concerns. - Maintain documentation of IT hardware assets, network configurations, and support logs. - Ensure compliance with hospital IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with software support and IT operations teams for integrated system support. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Hardware and Networking. - BCA / B.Tech / B.Sc in Computer Science / IT or a related field. - Other relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA) are an added advantage.
