Home Nurse

Job Description – Home Nurse (12 hrs / 24 hrs Duty)Position:

Kaigo Home Health Care LLP is looking for qualified and compassionate Home Nurses to provide professional nursing care at patients’ homes in Trivandrum and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients at their home as per the care plan.
• Administer medications, injections, and IV therapy as prescribed by the doctor.
• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, blood sugar, oxygen saturation, etc.).
• Assist patients in daily living activities – feeding, bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and positioning.
• Provide wound care, catheter care, tracheostomy care, and other clinical procedures when required.
• Manage post-surgical care, elderly care, palliative care, or chronic illness care as per patient needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, progress, and any changes in patient condition.
• Educate and support patient’s family regarding health practices and home care management.
• Ensure infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment for the patient.
• Report promptly to the supervising nurse/doctor or the care coordinator in case of emergencies or patient condition changes.

Requirements:

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / ANM qualification from a recognized institution.
• Valid Nursing Registration (Kerala Nursing Council preferred).
• Minimum 6 months – 1 year of clinical experience (hospital or home care preferred).
• Ability to work independently and responsibly in a home setting.
• Good communication skills in Malayalam and basic English.
• Compassionate, patient-friendly, and professional attitude.

Duty Options:

• 12 hrs Duty – Day Shift (8 AM – 8 PM) or Night Shift (8 PM – 8 AM).
• 24 hrs Duty – Stay-in duty at patient’s residence with rest time included.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
