As a Home Automation & Lighting Sales professional, your role involves selling smart home and lighting systems by generating leads, conducting client consultations, and managing sales cycles to close deals. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets, demonstrating products, building relationships with clients such as homeowners, architects, and builders, and providing expert technical advice on systems for comfort, security, and energy efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Actively find new business opportunities through lead generation methods like networking, cold calling, and building relationships with builders, architects, and channel partners. - Meet with potential clients to understand their needs for comfort, security, and energy efficiency in their homes or businesses during client consultations. - Develop and present customized smart home and lighting system designs to meet client requirements. - Showcase and demonstrate smart home and lighting products to potential customers during product demonstrations. - Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to proposal, negotiation, and closing sales to achieve targets. - Foster and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including homeowners, architects, and designers for effective relationship management. - Provide technical expertise on smart home connectivity, automation features, and lighting control for technical support. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in sales, preferably in home automation, lighting, or electronic security systems. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations, negotiations, and relationship building. - A good understanding of smart home technologies, wireless devices, and how to integrate them into a home. - A strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets. - A presentable and professional attitude to represent the brand effectively. - Familiarity with various home automation systems, including lighting controls, security, and entertainment solutions. You will work with individuals looking to upgrade their homes with smart technology (Homeowners), professionals who can integrate smart home solutions into building designs (Architects & Interior Designers), and partners who can install and implement these systems in new or existing properties (Builders & Contractors).
