Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) – English Location: Ranipet, Tamil Nadu Qualification: B.Ed. with Postgraduate Degree (M.A. in English preferred) Experience: 4-5 Years Salary: ₹45,000 - ₹50,000 per month Employment Type: Full-Time Gender Preference: Open to Both Male and Female Candidates Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of the English Department to lead and manage our English faculty team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving academic excellence, mentoring teachers, and fostering a love for the English language among students. Key Responsibilities: Oversee curriculum planning, lesson development, and instructional delivery for English across all grades. Lead and support a team of English teachers through training, mentoring, and performance management. Ensure alignment with educational standards and board requirements (CBSE/State Board/ICSE as applicable). Organize literary activities, debates, and other language development programs. Monitor students' progress and implement strategies for academic improvement. Conduct regular departmental meetings and coordinate with school management. Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods in the classroom.
