Job Description

Operate and set up Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC) and Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL). Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets to determine machining operations. Perform machine setting, tool offsetting, and basic programming (Fanuc/Siemens/Mazak preferred). Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Ensure quality control and adherence to tolerances and surface finish requirements. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues. Maintain production logs and report deviations or breakdowns.
