Job Purpose

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality desktop applications for automotive diagnostics and toolsets using C# and WPF.
• Build efficient, scalable, and robust tools tailored to the needs of the automotive industry.
• Create intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces with WPF, ensuring an excellent user experience.
• Implement complex user interactions and real-time data visualization features for automotive diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automotive hardware and software systems with the desktop tool.
• Develop communication protocols with automotive ECUs (Electronic Control Units) and other embedded systems.
• Perform thorough testing of the developed tools to ensure reliability and accuracy in automotive applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktop applications, including integration issues with automotive systems and software.
• Optimize application performance for speed and efficiency, ensuring minimal latency during diagnostic processes.
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable code by following industry best practices for software development.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for the tools and systems developed.
• Provide regular updates to the team and stakeholders on project progress and challenges.
• Work closely with other software engineers, automotive engineers, and project managers to ensure alignment on tool features and requirements.
• Continuously explore new techniques, tools, and methodologies to improve the quality and functionality of automotive desktop applications.

• Education & Experience

• Experience: 4 To 6 Years
• Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics/IT/CSE/ECE or MCA

Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in developing desktop applications with C# and WPF.
• Strong background in object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, CAN bus, OBD-II, and ECU communication protocols.
• Experience with automotive diagnostic software or hardware is a plus.
• Solid understanding of the WPF framework, MVVM design pattern, and UI binding concepts.
• Experience with data visualization and real-time data processing.
• Proficiency with version control systems like SVN /GIT.
• Familiarity with development environments such as Visual Studio.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and code optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in software applications and automotive systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
