Position: Senior PHP Developer Website: https://www.datamatics.com/ Job Location: Mumbai - Andheri Work Mode: Work from Office Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of robust web applications using PHP 7 and 8.5 and the Laravel framework. Design and optimize complex MySQL queries for efficient database operations. Configure and manage XAMPP web server for development and testing environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and secure solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements, providing technical guidance, and ensuring client satisfaction. Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation. Required Skills and Qualifications: 5 to 6 years of professional experience in PHP development (PHP 7 and 8.5). Expertise in the Laravel framework and its ecosystem. Should be able to write and optimize MySQL queries. Hands-on experience with XAMPP web server. Strong experience of web development best practices, RESTful APIs, and MVC architecture. Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to manage client expectations effectively. Proven problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach. Proven experience in managing and leading a team of 3-4 members. Leadership experience with the ability to guide, mentor, and motivate team members
