Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Experience: 6 to 8 Years

Mandatory Skills: Java, Selenium, Playwright, .NET, Cucumber (BDD), Jenkins, REST APIs, GIT, Docker, SonarQube, SQL

Shift Details: 12 PM to 9 PM (Flexible to work anytime)

Location: Bangalore - HBR Layout

Position Description:

The focus of this position is to develop automated tests for retail enterprise applications using hybrid and behavioral driven development automation framework. The resource selected will work as part of a fast-paced, iterative delivery team with resources located in India and US.

Key Responsibilities:

Jenkins Job Creation & Dashboard Management:

• Lead the creation, configuration, and optimization of Jenkins jobs. Set up and manage Jenkins dashboards for effective CI/CD pipeline visualization.

BDD Framework Development:

• Architect and implement Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks.,Ensure seamless integration of automation within BDD structures across projects.

Health Check and Monitoring Projects:

• Lead routine health checks across projects and automation suites. Ensure systems are fully operational, performing well, and complying with organizational standards.

SNS Integration & RSA API Implementation:

• Lead integration efforts for SNS for system notifications. Drive the integration and implementation of RSA APIs for security protocols.

SonarQube and SonarLint Integration:

• Lead SonarQube and SonarLint implementations to ensure code quality and security.

Menu Dashboard Ownership:

• Lead the design and maintenance of custom dashboards for projects, ensuring critical KPIs are tracked efficiently.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, QA, DevOps) to ensure effective collaboration.
• Drive automation best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and quality.

Position Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of experience in test automation
• Strong experience in using Java programming for test automation
• Strong understanding and experience using OOP principles and concepts
• Strong hands-on experience on Rest services automation
• Experience in technologies that support effective test automation: Integrated Development Environments, Continuous Integration tools, Source Code Management tools (GIT preferred), SOAP services, Database technologies and SQL.
• Experience in working on a BDD framework Cucumber(preferred)
• Experience and understanding of CI/CD
• Docker experience preferred
• Experience working in Retail domain is an added advantage
