Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions. This role involves aligning IT architecture with business objectives, ensuring robust system integration, and driving innovation through modern technologies such as microservices, APIs, and cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into architectural blueprints.
• Design and oversee the implementation of end-to-end solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Analyze existing systems to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Develop IT roadmaps and architectural strategies that support business goals.
• Ensure synergy between software and hardware architecture to optimize performance and cost.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of new technologies, tools, and vendors.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including PCI and security regulations.
• Support the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from planning to deployment and maintenance.
• Participate in RFP processes and vendor assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred).
• Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in software architecture, systems design, and enterprise IT in .Net technologies
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, APIs, cloud platforms (preferably Azure), and DevOps practices.
• Deep understanding of application architecture, data workflows, and system integration.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Technical Skills

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in infrastructure and capacity planning.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
