Job Title : Senior Piping Designer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Piping Designer with expertise in 3D modeling of Piping, Mechanical Items, piping layout design, and Piping & Structural engineering documentation for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in S3D, E3D (Added Advantage), and AutoCAD, along with strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, piping materials, and isometric drawing generation.Role and Responsibilities

Design & Modelling:

• Develop and manage

  3D piping models

  (Piping, Mechanical) using

  S3D

  . Model Review using Navis Manage.
• Perform

  pipe routing, equipment layout, and clash detection

  in a 3D environment.
• Review P&ID drawings and ensure alignment with 3D models.

Documentation & Deliverables:

• Develop

  General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Isometric Drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings for piping & Structural

  .
• Generate

  Bill of Materials (BOM)

  for construction and assembly.
• Prepare

  pipe cutting lists, valve lists, and material take-offs (MTO)

  .
• Produce

  lifting & transportation drawings, Foundation Drawings, grating layouts, and penetration details

  ,

  Pipe Support Drawings & Layouts.

• Ensure accuracy in

  construction & assembly Deliverables

Technical Expertise:

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience as S3D Design Engineering, preferably in Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience in Onshore, modular skid packages is a must.
• Familiarity with E3D is an advantage.
• Familiarity in ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, and API standards for process and pipeline design.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with engineers and drafters.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• BE/ BTech Mechanical Engineering or related field. or a related field (or equivalent)

.Preferred Skills

• Experience in complete package 3D modelling (Piping, Structural, Mechanical) and handling Piping Deliverables.
• Experience in Onshore Industry.
• Familiar with

  EPC workflows

  and Oil & Gas plant design lifecycle
• Leadership in model coordination with civil, structural, and mechanical teams.
• Ability to mentor junior designers and review drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
