Role Overview

We’re looking for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer experienced in CI/CD automation, scripting, and environment management to streamline deployments and migrations across multiple Salesforce orgs. The candidate will work extensively with Bitbucket Pipelines (YAML) and supporting automation scripts to enable seamless deployment, validation, and data migration.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Bitbucket Pipelines (YAML) or similar tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

Automate deployments, validations, and metadata migrations across Dev, QA, SIT, UAT, and Production orgs.

Develop and maintain automation scripts (Shell, Python, or Node.js) that are executed within the pipeline for tasks such as decryption, validation, data migration, and post-deployment verification.

Handle complex Salesforce metadata types, including Lightning Components, Flows, Flexipages, Omnichannel components, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Certificates.

Manage sandbox setup, refresh, and cloning, ensuring configuration consistency and data readiness.

Perform data migration and mapping using Salesforce APIs (REST, Bulk, Tooling, Metadata).

Troubleshoot deployment issues and maintain Git branching and merging strategies.

Collaborate with development, QA, and release teams to enforce release governance and DevOps best practices.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Salesforce CLI (SFDX), ANT Migration Tool, and Metadata API.

Expertise in configuring Bitbucket Pipeline YAML workflows and integrating with automation scripts.

Proficiency in Shell, Python, or Node.js scripting for CI/CD automation tasks.

Experience in sandbox management (creation, refresh, cloning).

Deep understanding of Salesforce metadata dependencies, profiles, and permission structures.

Hands-on with Git-based repositories (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab).

Knowledge of data migration tools and API-based automation.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Certified DevOps Engineer, Platform Developer I/II, or Administrator.

Experience with Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, or Azure DevOps.

Familiarity with multi-branch or parallel deployment strategies.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Excellent communication and collaboration across distributed teams.
