Job Description

Job Summary

Supports and configures Oracle Fusion Financial modules including AP, AR, GL, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets. Ensures accurate accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting aligned with organizational standards.

Job Duties

  • Support Oracle Fusion Cloud Financial modules including AP, AR, GL, FA.
  • Gather and analyze financial business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Configure setups for Chart of Accounts, Ledgers, Legal Entities, and Financial Reporting Structures.
  • Manage end-to-end processes for Payables, Receivables, and General Ledger.
  • Configure accounting rules, mapping sets, journal approvals, and subledger accounting (SLA).
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate data integration and compliance.
  • Support period close, financial reconciliations, and reporting processes.
  • Knowledge on Manage Transmission configurations related to bank statements.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot accounting, posting, and reconciliation errors in production.
  • Coordinate with Oracle Support for SRs, patching, and release updates.
  • Assist in financial data migration and validation activities using FBDI templates.
  • Provide end-user training and prepare documentation for functional setups and reporting processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes and financial reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues in the modules AP, AR, GL, FA.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent field required

Experience:

  • 5+ years of Oracle Financials Cloud experience with multiple implementations.
  • Hands-on with GL, AP, AR, FA and subledger accounting.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financial modules.
  • Experience in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with finance and technical teams.
  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills.

License/Certifications:

  • Basic certification from Oracle on relevant modules

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
  • Capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment while handle multiple complex projects/tasks simultaneously with a focus on details
  • Capable of successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
  • Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Capable of working well under pressure while dealing with unexpected problems in a professional manner
  • Capacity to communicate and interact with all levels of employees and management
  • Ability to interact and build relationships and consensus among people
  • Advanced knowledge of database optimization efforts such as hint, statistics and other related experience, preferred
  • Capacity to consistently produce clean coding and adhere to appropriate documentation standards.
