Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, focusing on performance, security, and scalability.
Build and manage microservices and RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define specifications, and deliver solutions.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Write clean, efficient, and secure code following best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
Contribute to technical designs and ensure high-quality code deliverables.

Qualifications and skills

Experience with Java, particularly Java 8 and above.
Hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework.
Experience with microservices architecture and development.
Familiarity with REST APIs.
Experience with SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and writing SQL queries.
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks.
Ability to work on cloud-native applications, especially on Azure or AWS, is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
