Hiring for Dietitian

Key Responsibilities

1. Nutritional Assessment

• Evaluate patients dietary habits, medical history, and health conditions.

• Conduct nutritional screenings and identify deficiencies.

2. Meal Planning & Counseling

• Develop customized diet plans for weight management, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and other conditions.

• Advise patients on food choices, portion sizes, and healthy eating habits.

• Provide nutrition therapy for specific medical needs (renal diet, post-surgery, pediatric nutrition, etc.).

3. Patient Education

• Educate individuals and groups on balanced diets, lifestyle changes, and preventive healthcare.

• Guide patients on reading food labels, cooking methods, and portion control.

4. Collaboration with Healthcare Teams

• Work with doctors, nurses, and therapists to create comprehensive treatment plans.

• Support hospital patients with tailored nutrition (tube feeding, parenteral nutrition, etc.).

5. Monitoring & Evaluation

• Track patient progress and adjust diet plans accordingly.

• Maintain detailed records of nutritional assessments and outcomes.

6. Research & Development

• Stay updated with the latest nutrition research, dietary guidelines, and food technology.

• Develop educational materials, workshops, or wellness programs.

7. Compliance & Ethics

• Follow ethical practices in dietary counseling.

• Ensure compliance with medical and nutrition standards.
