Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Remote) Location: Remote Working time : 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM (Night Shift) Working Days: 5 Days a week Weekly Offs: Rotational About the Role: We are seeking a versatile and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing remote team supporting a US-based client delivering global online education services. This is a hands-on technical role focused on cloud infrastructure, scripting, server maintenance, and light programming. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across Windows and Unix-based systems, cloud environments, and supporting database and API integrations. Key Responsibilities: Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain Amazon AWS EC2 instances across global regions (Far East and US) Perform EC2 migrations, backups, and routine maintenance tasks Create, monitor, and maintain Azure infrastructure and services Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts , particularly for Azure and LDAP operations Write Bash scripts for system maintenance: service monitoring, error scanning, log file operations Directory Services & Identity Management: Work with Azure Active Directory and LDAP to manage and manipulate user and directory data Database Operations: Handle SQL Server tasks including database creation, replication setup, and backup management API Integration & Monitoring: Maintain and develop light PHP scripts on Unix systems to connect with third-party APIs Monitor and troubleshoot API connections to ensure continuous service uptime Required Skills & Experience: 4 - 7 years of experience in a DevOps , System Administration , or Cloud Engineering role Proficiency in PowerShell scripting with Azure and LDAP Strong experience in BASH scripting and Unix/Linux environments Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Amazon EC2 and Azure Experience with SQL Server administration, backups, and replication Ability to write and troubleshoot PHP scripts (basic to moderate level) Experience working with APIs and monitoring tools Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
