Hiring Data Engineer & BI Developer (BlocData/Apache Superset) | HYD

Role Summary

Were looking for a hands-on Data Engineer & BI Report developer who enjoys working across the full data pipeline from getting data in, transforming it into dashboards that help teams make better decisions.

You'll primarily work with our proprietary data platform, BlocData, which offers a user-friendly UI for managing data transformation and workflow orchestration. In addition, you may use Apache Superset to create dashboards and reports. While the focus is on data engineering using BlocData, experience with Apache Superset is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering (BlocData):

• Ingest data from files, APIs, and databases.
• Clean, transform, and organize data using built-in functions or SQL.
• Handle deduplication, data matching, and enrichment rules.
• Schedule and monitor workflows to ensure smooth updates.
• Use

  Debezium

  for real-time change data capture (CDC).

BI & Reporting (Apache Superset):

• Build dashboards and visualizations from processed data.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reports.
• Add filters and make dashboards interactive and user-friendly.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years

  in Data Engineering and/or BI reporting.

• Strong SQL skills

  (PostgreSQL experience preferred).
• Experience with

  BI tools

  (Apache Superset preferred).
• Comfortable working with

  low-code tools

  like BlocData (training will be provided).
• Strong understanding of

  data pipelines, ETL, and workflow scheduling

• Bonus: Experience with

  Debezium

  or other CDC tools. .
