Location: Bangalore / Coimbatore

Work Mode: Work from Office

Experience: 3 - 8 years

Qualification: Any graduation

Certification: CPC / COC / CCS (mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

Review and audit coded medical records for Pathology and Toxicology reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines.
Identify and correct coding errors while ensuring adherence to payer-specific guidelines and compliance regulations.
Provide feedback, training, and mentoring to coders on pathology and toxicology coding standards.
Monitor coding quality metrics and ensure QA benchmarks are consistently met.
Collaborate with operations and training teams to address recurring errors and process gaps.
Stay updated with CMS, AMA, and AAPC guidelines, as well as regulatory updates in pathology and toxicology coding.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Clinical Pathology and Toxicology coding.
Hands-on experience with CPT codes 8000089999 (Pathology & Laboratory section).
Good understanding of drug testing codes, molecular pathology codes, and toxicology panels.
Proficiency in ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS coding systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and feedback delivery skills.
