Job Description

Inventory Management: Assist in managing and organizing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained to meet operational needs while minimizing excess inventory.
Receiving and Dispatching: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and ensure proper documentation. Prepare and dispatch outgoing shipments to customers or other locations as per requirements.
Stock Handling: Handle and store goods in a safe and organized manner, ensuring proper storage conditions are maintained to prevent damage or deterioration of inventory.
Stocktaking and Reconciliation: Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy. Investigate and resolve variances through root cause analysis.
Order Processing: Assist in processing purchase orders, picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment or delivery. Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, receipts, shipments, and stock movements using inventory management software or manual systems.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming goods for quality and conformity to specifications. Identify and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate department.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines in the storage and handling of goods. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
