Job Description

Job Summary:The Fish Farm Helper assists in the daily operations of a fish farm, including feeding, cleaning, monitoring fish health, and maintaining tanks or ponds. The role ensures that fish are raised in a healthy environment and that farm operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:Feed fish according to the feeding schedule and monitor their growth. Clean and maintain fish tanks, ponds, and filtration systems. Assist in sorting, grading, and harvesting fish. Check and report water quality parameters such as temperature and oxygen levels. Help with packaging and transporting fish when required. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area. Assist in repairing nets, tanks, and other farm equipment. Observe and report signs of disease or unusual behavior in fish. Follow safety and environmental guidelines during all operations. Requirements:Basic understanding of fish farming or willingness to learn. Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and in water. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Basic record-keeping and observation skills. Previous experience in aquaculture or farm work is an advantage.
