Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer

As an HVAC Engineer at McD BERL, you will be responsible for designing HVAC systems that meet the heating and cooling requirements of buildings or industrial applications. Your focus will be on ensuring energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and environmental sustainability in your designs. You will play a key role in selecting and sizing HVAC equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handlers, and ductwork based on building requirements and energy efficiency standards. Collaboration with architects, builders, and other engineers will be essential to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into building designs and construction plans. Your tasks will also include preparing detailed HVAC system specifications, drawings, and project schedules while ensuring compliance with building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Overseeing the installation process to guarantee correct installation and adherence to safety and quality standards will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will conduct tests and inspections of HVAC systems to identify and address any issues or malfunctions promptly. Providing technical support to customers, resolving their queries, and offering solutions to any problems they encounter will also be a part of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Masters or Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, along with relevant experience in designing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems. A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in the field is required.
