Job Title: Healthcare Data Architect

Duration: 1+year Contract Opportunity may convert to Fulltime

Healthcare Data Architect FHIR/OMOP

Healthcare Data Modeling Expertise
– Strong understanding of
FHIR and OMOP data standards
, including schema design, entity relationships (patient, encounter, observation, claims), and data interoperability requirements.
FHIR-to-OMOP Mapping Experience
– Hands-on experience in
harmonizing and transforming healthcare data
from source systems (Epic, Elation, etc.) into standardized FHIR and OMOP models for analytics and AI use cases.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
– Deep familiarity with
HIPAA, PHI/PII handling, and healthcare data governance frameworks
, ensuring compliance throughout ingestion, transformation, and reporting pipelines.
Collaboration with Data Engineering Teams
– Ability to partner with Databricks engineers to
define data quality rules, validation logic, and business mappings
, ensuring domain accuracy within the Data Lakehouse.
Advisory & Enablement Role
– Support architectural reviews, participate in PoVs, and
educate cross-functional teams
on healthcare data semantics, workflows, and value-based care metrics.
