To ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines and to create a safe working environment by implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement safety management systems and emergency response plans.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety induction programs, and training sessions for workers and staff.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, training, and safety meetings.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its availability and proper usage.
• Coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors to ensure safety compliance.
• Promote a positive safety culture across the organization.
• Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation to the management and authorities.

Skills and Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, Factories Act, and other relevant safety regulations.
• Ability to conduct hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software/tools.
• Attention to detail and proactive safety mindset.

Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):

• ADIS (Mandatory)
• NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / First Aid / Fire Safety Certification (Preferred)

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per year
