Job Description

Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, with regular review, updates, and communication.
Ensure statutory obligations regarding health, safety, and welfare at work are met, including training and reporting requirements.
Complete and regularly review risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
Document, investigate, and implement improvements for all accidents.
Conduct safety inspections, manage fire drills and alarms, oversee risk assessments, and ensure employees understand their responsibilities.
Coordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work, and procedures.
Maintain full and accurate health and safety training records.
Establish a comprehensive programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits, and checks.
Develop a structured health & safety training programme throughout the company.
Liaise with external health & safety consultants to provide training programmes and health & safety services.
Manage, chair, and formulate agendas and minutes for Health & Safety meetings.
