You will be responsible for overseeing teaching at the school to ensure that the classes cover and meet the requirements set out by the governing body. Developing and implementing effective processes for the learning and development of children will be a key aspect of your role. Managing the reviews of teachers and other teaching staff within the school community will be essential. It will also be your responsibility to ensure that protocols are followed for any untoward situations that arise, such as assault within the school, instability of students" mental health, and safeguarding of students. You will need to implement safeguarding procedures as required. Managing the school budget for all required expenditures, including learning materials, salaries, and extracurricular activities, will be part of your duties. You will also be responsible for arranging and overseeing parent-teacher meetings and preparing teachers, students, and other staff members for inspections conducted by the regulatory authority. Providing reports on performance, financials, and improvements to the board of chairs will be essential. Creating a diverse, dynamic, and inclusive environment among the teachers and students is a key objective.
