Role: Head Technical Services - Iron Ore Karnataka, Sesa Goa
Grade: M3/M4
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure technical adequacy in mine operations including space utilization, grade control, and optimal use of pits and waste dumps.
  • Oversee statutory compliance by managing documentation and approvals from regulatory bodies like IBM, DMG, and DGMS.
  • Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team (Geologists, Mining Engineers, Surveyors, Geotech Engineers) through effective communication, mentoring, and performance reviews.
  • Monitor and implement the mine plan to align with business goals and statutory requirements.
  • Enhance mine planning by integrating market insights, customer needs, and interdepartmental collaboration for cost-effective and sustainable mining.
  • Drive implementation of quality standards and improve overall quality scores.
  • Lead efforts to implement VSAP standards and enhance VSAP performance metrics.
Qualification & Exp: First Class Mining Engineer with sound knowledge of legal framework and a creative mind for planning with 12+ years of experience in relevant field
