Head Rectifier & Switchyard

As the Head Rectifier & Switchyard at Vedanta Aluminium, a division of Vedanta Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring uninterrupted supply of DC power to Potline and Aux Power to area substation, Plant Lighting, and Air conditioning systems. Your responsibilities will include implementing procedures and plans to meet business targets for Rectifier, as well as identifying and implementing energy conservation projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing maintenance breakdowns of critical equipment and implementing corrective and preventive actions. It will be essential for you to ensure the efficient operation and effective utilization of equipment, manpower, and resources to maintain equipment and system availability. Key Responsibilities: - Implement procedures and plans for uninterrupted supply of DC power - Ensure efficient operation and effective utilization of equipment - Coordinate with all departments for energy conservation activities - Analyze and review maintenance breakdowns of critical equipment - Implement corrective and preventive actions - Training and development of subordinates, team building - Implement cost control measures - Ensure safe working conditions for equipment and people - Review safety performance and prepare action plans Qualifications Required: - B.E/B.Tech. in Electrical - 10 to 14 years of experience in the Aluminum Industry - Strong understanding of electrical systems - Awareness of statutory and legal requirements - Good decision-making ability in emergency and critical situations to avoid production disruptions and safeguard equipment In addition to these responsibilities, you will benefit from outstanding remuneration and best-in-class rewards.
