HEAD QUALITY (SUGAR)

Role & responsibilities

Oversee and lead the QA department to ensure compliance with quality

standards for sugar and alcohol production.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and

standards.

Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, raw

materials, and finished products.

Monitor and analyze quality metrics and perform root cause analysis for quality

issues.

Ensure adherence to local, national, and international food and safety

regulations.

Coordinate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality-

related issues.

Lead training programs for staff on quality standards, safety, and best practices.

Manage documentation, reports, and audits for compliance purposes.

Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological

advancements.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in QA management within food/beverage industry,

preferably in sugar and alcohol production.

Strong knowledge of quality standards like ISO, HACCP, FSSAI, and other

relevant certifications.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Familiarity with laboratory testing and quality control techniques.

Good communication and team management abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor or Master in Food Technology / Chemistry / or related field

Must have good managerial skills and work hand in hand with other

departments.

Must have a good knowledge in the process & Quality Analysis or

Parameters

Must have a good Analyzing skill and problem-solving skills for identifying

and resolving environment issues.
