Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead the establishment, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System as per ISO and customer standards.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and customer-specific requirements, and manage all internal and external audits.
  • Oversee QMS documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and maintain effective document and version control.
  • Monitor product quality across all stages of manufacturing and define standards and inspection criteria.
  • Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints, lead root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and waste reduction methodologies.
  • Train teams on QMS processes and audits while developing and mentoring the quality department.
  • Conduct supplier audits, monitor performance, and ensure supplier compliance with QMS requirements.
  • Interact with customers for audits, quality queries, and ensure timely closure of complaints.
  • Track and report quality KPIs through MIS dashboards and support data-driven decision-making.
