Head QA QC

Role & responsibilities

1.

• Set up QA/QC Plan for the organization and review/update QA/QC processes as per project/operations requirements.
• Prepare an annual plan for quality improvement and sustainability of quality.
• Set organizational goals for quality improvement.
• Devise, improve, and review new specifications and procedures for construction/installation across all sites.
• Identify ways to improve construction processes to ensure higher-quality finishes.

• Provide leadership to the General Contractors' quality team and interface at the highest level between Data Centre Engineering, Operations, and Commissioning teams.
• Set goals and KPIs for the QA/QC team.
• Conduct GC/Contractors' monthly, quarterly, and annual QA/QC performance reviews.

• Ensure compliance with legal obligations and regulatory body requirements.
• Set requirements for civil construction, high-side, and low-side components, and monitor compliance.
• Review site QA/QC scripts, WMS, and inspection processes to ensure adherence and implementation.
• Review QAP for high-side equipment and establish processes for revalidating QAP adherence.

• Inspect final outputs, compare them to requirements, and approve or reject them.
• Monitor and ensure QA/QC processes are followed across all construction sites.
• Perform statistical analysis and maintain accurate documentation for all projects and operational sites.

• Gain an understanding of client needs and communicate quality expectations to project teams.
• Gather feedback from clients, attend meetings, and submit reports.
• Assist external auditors and inspectors as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

1. 20+ years of experience in the Quality domain of Engineering, Product, Project, Processes, etc.

2. Well conversant with applicable, project-specific, national, and international standards.

3. Expert in preparing Quality documentation, manuals, formats, etc., as suitable.

4. Excellent knowledge of analysing NCs, RCA, CA, PA, and associated documentation.

1. B-Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering from a well-recognized institution.

2. Certifications in QA/QC standards or methodologies are must.

3. Specialized training in Quality Management Systems and regulatory frameworks is preferred.

1. Highly skilled in preparing and instructing Quality Plans, including work method statements, construction methodologies, and test plans.

2. Strong understanding of project specifications, design, equipment, installations, and quality standards.
