Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production & Process Manager to lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations at plant. This role is responsible for overseeing critical plant processes including crushing & grinding circuits, material handling systems, batching, mixing, and bagging operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted production.

The incumbent will play a key role in driving production planning, process optimization, equipment reliability, and operational excellence across the plant. The position demands strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a continuous improvement mindset to achieve production targets, enhance efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure seamless coordination across production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain functions.

Develop and execute monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on demand

forecasts and capacity availability.

Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

Monitor daily production vs. plan and initiate corrective actions for deviations.

Coordinate with SCM, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted

production flow.

Lead end-to-end Production and Process management .

material preparation to final bagging.

Manage and optimize crushing and grinding circuits (Jaw Crushers, Vertical Shaft Grinders, Raymond Mills, High-Efficiency Screening Units etc.).

Supervise bulk material handling systems including bucket elevators, belt conveyors, and dust control equipment.

Ensure accuracy and efficiency of material batching & dosing systems.

Oversee pneumatic conveying systems to ensure safe, efficient, and dust-free material transfer.

Work with Engineers & Shop floor management & assistants through Periodic Audits of manufacturing process for continual improvement and adherence Monitor and report RM, Process and FG parameters to Process Technology group to ensure standardization.

Solving in plant product and process problems following 8D methodology, Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives to enhance productivity.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Experienced in heavy process industry.

Experienced in Production & Process Management.

Expertise in crushing, grinding, batching, mixing, and bagging systems.

Familiarity with pneumatic conveying and dust collection systems.

Proven track record in process optimization and equipment management.

Analytical skills with focus on process improvement & cost optimization.
