We’re Hiring: Head of Pastoral Care
Location: Sanjay Ghodawat International School, Kolhapur, Maharashtra

Sanjay Ghodawat International School is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and visionary Head of Pastoral Care to lead our student wellbeing initiatives.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that promotes the emotional, social, and mental wellbeing of our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastoral care, counselling, or student support, along with experience working in an international or residential school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of pastoral systems and policies across the school
• Lead student wellbeing programs and initiatives
• Support and guide students through personal, social, or academic challenges
• Train and mentor staff on pastoral care practices
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and boarding staff to ensure holistic development

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, or related field
• Proven experience in a pastoral or leadership role within a school
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy, discretion, and a student-first mindset
