Job Title: Head of Interior Design Location: Sarjapur, Bangalore Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Head of Interior Design will lead and oversee the interior design team to create innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. This role requires a blend of creative vision, leadership skills, and technical expertise to ensure that all design projects meet the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. Additionally, the Head of Interior Design will be responsible for handling a team, achieving sales targets, managing overall project execution, and overseeing branch sales. Key Responsibilities: Lead the interior design team in developing design concepts, space planning, and project execution. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Oversee the selection of materials, furnishings, and finishes to ensure cohesive and high-quality design outcomes. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with the approved plans and specifications. Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into design projects. Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and support staff. Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and detailed drawings to clients and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards. Handle a team and ensure effective collaboration and communication within the team. Set and achieve sales targets to drive revenue growth. Develop and implement strategies to meet business objectives and client expectations. Oversee branch sales and ensure targets are met. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of successful project management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
