Head of India Operations Fiber Engineering & US Telecom Programs

As the Head of India Operations for Fiber Engineering & Telecom Programs, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a centralized hub in India that integrates OSP fiber network design, fiber engineering services, drive testing, benchmarking, and backend operational support. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and delivering top-notch service to major global telecom clients such as AT&T, Verizon, Ericsson, and Nokia. You will be responsible for creating and leading a collaborative, high-performance culture within the centralized operations hub. Your strategic leadership will involve designing the organizational structure, workflows, and resource allocation to enhance coordination and efficiency. Additionally, you will oversee OSP fiber network design, fiber engineering services, drive testing, benchmarking, and backend operations to drive consistency and efficiency in service delivery. Your role will also encompass financial management and P&L ownership, where you will be accountable for ensuring project profitability, efficient cost management, and meeting revenue targets. You will manage end-to-end program execution for large-scale fiber deployments and telecom infrastructure projects, acting as the primary escalation point for program risks and client concerns. Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including AT&T, Verizon, Ericsson, and Nokia, will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical guidance on network architecture, engineering, and deployment. Additionally, you will establish and manage relationships with global technology vendors and service partners to optimize cost and delivery efficiency. To excel in this role, you should possess 15-18 years of progressive leadership experience in telecom infrastructure, with expertise in OSP fiber network design, fiber engineering services, drive testing, and benchmarking. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of backend telecom operations and process optimization.
