Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly accomplished Head of Engineering with deep expertise in AI, end-to-end AI product development, and enterprise-grade software engineering. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience leading AI/ML and Generative AI projects from concept to production, combined with strong engineering leadership across cloud platforms, scalable architecture, DevOps, and product delivery.

This role requires a technology visionary who can define the engineering strategy, lead high-performing teams, architect AI-driven solutions, and drive innovation across the organization. You will work closely with Product, Data Science, Innovation, and Business teams to build and scale AI-powered digital products with high reliability, performance, and security.

Preferred candidate profile

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML and Generative AI projectsincluding discovery, data strategy, model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Drive the AI roadmap, adoption of modern AI tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Architect and implement AI-first product features, automation systems, and intelligent workflows.
• Oversee the integration of AI models into scalable cloud-native and enterprise systems.
• Define the technology vision, engineering standards, and long-term architectural strategy.
• Architect complex, distributed systems and cloud-native applications (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Establish frameworks for scalable microservices, event-driven systems, and data pipelines.
• Ensure security, compliance, reliability, and cost-efficient cloud operations.
• Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across AI/ML, full-stack engineering, DevOps, and product engineering.
• Provide technical guidance to AI engineers, architects, and senior developers.
• Foster a culture of innovation, problem-solving, and engineering excellence.
• Drive CI/CD, DevOps maturity, MLOps pipelines, monitoring, and automation.
• Set engineering KPIs, model performance metrics, code quality benchmarks, and operational SLAs.
• Collaborate with Product and Business teams to align engineering execution with business outcomes.
