Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Head of E-Commerce to own and scale our multi-marketplace business across Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, Target+, and other major platforms. This role will lead cross-functional teams, manage end-to-end e-commerce P&L, and drive revenue acceleration through data-backed decisions, operational excellence, and marketplace-specific growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead and manage a cross-functional team of ~10 members across creative, ads, catalogue, listings, and operations.

Conduct weekly sprint reviews, coach team members on ownership, timelines, and output quality.

Create and enforce brand and creative guidelines tailored to each marketplace audience.

Revenue Ownership & Strategy:

Own and drive the e-commerce P&L, overseeing revenue and profitability across Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, Target+, and additional marketplaces.

Define and align quarterly revenue goals; cascade KPIs marketplace-wise and team-wise.

Launch and scale disruptive product bundling models while accelerating legacy SKU performance.

Performance Tracking & Analytics

Monitor sales, ad spend, conversion rates, and profitability through dashboards; derive and execute actionable insights weekly.

Present business performance, key KPIs, and strategic growth recommendations to founders and senior leadership.

Marketing, Ads & Promotions

Plan, execute, and optimize multi-platform ad campaigns; continuously improve ROAS, TACOS, and ACOS.

Lead promotions planning for sale events, new launches, and seasonality-based campaigns.

Implement and manage tools for pricing optimization, reporting, and performance tracking.

Catalog, Listings & SEO:

Ensure SEO-rich listings, brand-aligned creatives, and accurate catalogue health across all platforms.

Design and implement SOPs across listings, returns, ad workflows, and inventory updates.

Operations & Compliance

Oversee daily operations including order flow, WMS sync, SLA adherence, and conflict resolution.

Maintain platform compliance and health metrics such as Buy Box %, returns, chargebacks, and account health scores.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven experience leading multi-marketplace e-commerce businesses (Amazon + at least one other major platform).

Strong ownership mindset with experience managing P&L and revenue growth at scale.

Deep understanding of performance marketing, catalogue optimization, and marketplace operations.

Highly analytical, structured, and comfortable presenting to leadership.

Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-growth environment.
