As the Head of Design at WhatJobs Ltd, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and optimization of WhatJobs.com's web and email experiences across global markets. Your responsibilities will include: - Owning the full UX/UI strategy for WhatJobs.com, ensuring seamless and high-performing web experiences. - Designing responsive web pages, user flows, and conversion-optimized landing pages for global markets. - Leading the design of impactful marketing and outreach emails that reflect the brand and drive engagement. - Developing and maintaining a scalable design system to ensure consistency across digital channels. - Conducting A/B testing on pages and emails to optimize design for performance. - Collaborating with product, marketing, SEO, and engineering teams to align visual strategy with business goals. - Working closely with front-end developers to ensure efficient implementation of designs across devices. - Using tools like Figma, Hotjar, and AI platforms to increase design velocity. - Analyzing user behavior and feedback to continuously improve UX and UI quality. - Leading the design strategy for future WhatJobs mobile app interfaces for a cohesive cross-platform experience. - Contributing to long-term UX planning, including future use cases such as voice search and conversational interfaces. - Hiring, mentoring, and leading an internal design team. - Presenting design strategy, testing insights, and UX recommendations to international leadership teams and stakeholders. Qualifications required for this role: - 8+ years of experience in digital and web design, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. - Deep expertise in web UX/UI design, especially for high-traffic platforms. - Proven success in designing marketing and transactional emails with a strong emphasis on layout, CTA design, and responsiveness. - Experience in designing for web and mobile platforms with a focus on intuitive, responsive, and performance-optimized UX. - Proficiency in Figma, Adobe CC, A/B testing tools, and analytics platforms. - Demonstrated use of AI tools for creative workflows. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Experience in creating and managing design systems and working with SEO and development teams.
