As the Head of Department in the Fintech Department at The Global Business School, Kondapur, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the department. Your responsibilities will include: - **Academic Leadership:** Leading the development and implementation of the department's vision, academic programs, and strategic initiatives. Ensuring high academic standards through effective teaching methods and outcome-based education. - **Faculty & Student Development:** Recruiting and mentoring a competent faculty team. Encouraging research activities and active participation in academic and industry circles. Enhancing student learning experiences through case studies and industry certifications. - **Industry Integration:** Building partnerships with fintech firms, startups, and research institutions. Facilitating internships, live projects, and job placements. Organizing industry events to enhance industry-academia collaboration. - **Research & Innovation:** Encouraging applied research, white papers, and collaborations with international establishments. Driving thought leadership through publications in esteemed journals and conferences. - **Administrative & Strategic Oversight:** Managing departmental operations, budget, and accreditations. Representing the department in academic councils and committees. Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics. Qualifications & Experience: - Ph.D. in Finance, Fintech, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. - Master's degree with a focus on Finance/Fintech/Technology. - Minimum 10 years of teaching or fintech industry experience.
