Head Of Department Fashion Design

We are looking for a talented and experienced Head of Department – Fashion Design to lead the Fashion Design department. The role includes managing faculty, maintaining academic quality, guiding students, and bringing innovation through workshops, practical sessions, and real-world fashion events.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Fashion Design department and oversee daily academic operations.
• Develop and update course curriculum, modules, and practical assignments.
• Guide faculty members and ensure high-quality teaching practices.
• Conduct fashion workshops, draping sessions, garment construction training, and industry interactions.
• Supervise student progress, portfolios, discipline, and attendance.
• Plan and execute Fashion Shows, exhibitions, and project evaluations.
• Collaborate with management for academic planning and new initiatives.
• Maintain academic records and ensure timely completion of syllabus.
• Encourage creativity, innovation, and professional readiness among students.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design (NIFT/NID/FT-approved institutes preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years teaching or academic leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, draping, pattern making, and fashion illustration.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD (added advantage).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
