As the Head of AI at Weekday's client, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of artificial intelligence within the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of tasks, from setting the strategic vision for AI to leading a team of talented individuals in implementing cutting-edge AI solutions. Key Responsibilities: - **AI Strategy & Vision:** Define and drive the overall AI strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives and long-term vision. - **Team Leadership:** Build and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers and researchers, ensuring they deliver high-impact results. - **Hands-on Development:** Utilize your expertise in Python and PyTorch to design and implement state-of-the-art AI/ML models. Stay actively engaged in coding, research, and model deployment. - **Product Innovation:** Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and design teams to integrate AI capabilities into products and enhance customer experiences. - **Research & Experimentation:** Stay abreast of the latest AI trends and academic research. Prototype and test innovative algorithms to solve real-world challenges effectively. - **AI Infrastructure:** Oversee the development and upkeep of the infrastructure required for training, serving, and monitoring machine learning models at scale. - **Collaboration:** Partner with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities, define project scopes, and achieve measurable outcomes. - **Model Governance & Ethics:** Advocate for responsible AI practices to ensure the interpretability, security, fairness, and compliance of AI models. Required Skills & Experience: - 7+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, demonstrating a track record of successfully building and deploying large-scale machine learning systems. - Proficiency in Python, with a deep understanding of PyTorch for developing and training deep learning models. - Strong grasp of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers), and statistical modeling. - Experience in building and scaling AI platforms and services in production environments. - Leadership experience in managing technical teams effectively. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) would be advantageous. - An advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related fields is preferred.,
