Job Summary

Head – Mining

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership for
end-to-end mining operations
across multiple sites in India.
Plan, execute, and monitor
OB removal and MDO projects
to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
Ensure
statutory, safety, and environmental compliance
across all mining projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with
clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders
.
Implement
best practices, process improvements, and innovative solutions
to enhance mining productivity and efficiency.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mining engineers, project managers, and support staff.
Develop and execute
strategic growth plans
for mining operations, including capacity expansion and resource optimization.
Oversee project budgets, financial planning, and performance metrics to drive profitability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Mining Engineering
or related discipline.
15–20 years of proven experience
in mining operations, specifically in
OB removal and MDO projects
.
Strong knowledge of
mining regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance
.
Demonstrated ability to manage
large-scale, multi-site mining operations
.
Excellent
leadership, project management, and stakeholder management
skills.
Strong strategic mindset with proven ability to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Willingness to travel frequently to mining sites across India.
