Description
As the Inventory Head at Mosaic Wellness, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control and warehouse management across multiple locations, including the Mother Warehouse and 3PLs. Your role will involve ensuring stock accuracy, operational efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness while leading a large team and collaborating closely with cross-functional departments. Your key responsibilities will include: 1. Inventory Tracking: - Monitoring inventory levels daily across all product categories using inventory management systems. - Identifying and addressing stock issues such as shortages, near expiry, damages, non-moving SKUs, and excess inventory. 2. Warehouse Management: - Supervising day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatching. - Ensuring adherence to defined Turnaround Time (TAT) standards for both B2B and B2C orders. 3. Physical Inventory Audits: - Conducting regular and surprise stock audits at the Mother Warehouse and 3PL locations. - Reconciling physical counts with system records and promptly resolving any discrepancies. 4. Cost Optimization: - Analyzing inventory movement data to identify cost-saving opportunities. - Managing and validating monthly billing data related to warehousing, storage, and handling. 5. Data Analysis and Reporting: - Generating and interpreting reports on GRN TAT, stock accuracy, replenishment performance, and non-moving inventory. - Sharing insights with relevant stakeholders to support business decisions. 6. Packaging Management: - Planning and placing Purchase Orders (POs) for packaging materials. - Ensuring timely replenishment of packaging stocks across all warehouses. 7. Compliance: - Enforcing compliance with quality control, inventory policies, and regulatory standards related to product handling, storage, and traceability. Required Skills & Competencies: - Proficiency in Inventory Management Systems such as WMS, Uni commerce, or other ERP/WMS platforms. - Strong data analysis skills for interpreting inventory trends and resolving stock discrepancies. - Deep understanding of end-to-end FMCG supply chain functions, space utilization, FSN, ABC analysis. - Proven leadership and team management abilities to oversee warehouse teams effectively. - Proactive problem-solving skills to address inventory-related issues promptly. - Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with cross-functional departments and partners. Key Metrics (KPIs): - Inventory Accuracy % - GRN and Order Fulfillment TAT - Stock Ageing and Expiry Control - Packaging Material Availability - Audit Variance and Reconciliation Time - Cycle count Requirements: - Any Bachelor's degree or related field (BE/B.Tech Preferred). - Proven experience in inventory management within an FMCG environment. - Proficiency in inventory management systems (ERP, WMS, Unicommerce). - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. - Familiarity with lean inventory practices and Just-in-Time (JIT) methodology is a plus.,
