Head Finance-Uttarakhand Plant

Role Overview: As a Qualified CA or Qualified Cost Accountant working at the Pant Nagar plant, you will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, capex management, internal audits, cost control, and team development. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the plant planning process and provide accurate financial information to the plant management team - Prepare forecast and monthly rolling plan based on customer indents for next month demand - Undertake detailed item by item analysis and assess variance impact on budget and expenses - Monitor budget utilization and check expense PO for adherence to the budget - Prepare and consolidate budgets across variable and fixed heads for annual budgeting - Prepare cash flow statements based on actual current month cash flows and forecasted cash flow statement for the next month - Prepare plan for funding capex requirements and evaluate cash flow positions for capex funding - Prepare capex forecast at the beginning of the year and review actual capex requirements on a monthly basis - Collaborate with Internal Audit team to identify risks and create risk management frameworks - Implement process improvement initiatives for strong internal controls and efficiency of financial processes - Apply cost accounting principles for product costing, quotations, and new products - Generate ideas on cost control measures and initiatives at the plant - Analyze product and segment wise profitability and cost drivers - Recommend transfer pricing systems and evaluate the effect of transfer prices - Analyze profitability, productivity, and costs within the plant and provide feedback and reports - Participate in the recruitment process and establish individual performance expectations for the team - Identify development opportunities for team members to enhance functional knowledge and update the team on regulatory changes Qualifications Required: - Qualified CA or Qualified Cost Accountant - Willingness to work 6 days a week at the Pant Nagar plant,
