Head Design (Workplace interiors)

Job Description: As a key member of the leadership team, you will collaborate closely with the Business Head, senior designers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the studio. Your responsibilities will include developing designs for corporate interior projects, leading client presentations and pitches in the region, and actively managing the studio alongside the Business Head. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting business development efforts, managing pitches and design presentations, as well as overseeing key client projects in collaboration with the Business Development and Client Solutions teams. As part of the design leadership team, you will be instrumental in implementing effective training programmes, mentoring, and motivating the design team to achieve outstanding performance and design excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Develop designs for corporate interior projects - Lead client presentations and pitches in the region - Actively manage the studio alongside the Business Head - Support business development efforts - Manage pitches and design presentations - Oversee key client projects in collaboration with Business Development and Client Solutions teams - Implement effective training programmes for the design team - Mentor and motivate the design team to achieve outstanding performance and design excellence Qualifications Required: - Interior Design or Interior-Architecture professional with prior leadership experience in team or studio management - Strong background in client-facing roles with a proven track record of managing clients, handling pitches, and delivering design presentations - Excellent design management and presentation abilities, particularly in Corporate Interiors/Workplace design projects - Keen eye for design with technical proficiency to take a project from concept to execution - Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond - Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills - Holding a registered Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture - Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop - Subscription to the company's core values of teamwork, integrity, and excellence,
